ELDER MATUA OFFICIALLY HITS THE ONE-YEAR MARK TODAY!!!! WOW! WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE?

Sorry folks no email this week. But Elder Matua has assured us that he will send one next week. He sends his love and thanks for all the support you have given him. One year already???!!! For us the time has just flown by and we've seen the blessings evident in our lives every day because of his service in the field. Sincere thanks to all of you for your prayers and support!!!! GOD BLESS and here's to another great year for Elder Matua!!!!

Hello Family AND Friends!

This has been one crazy week for me and my two companions (Elder Lolohea and my new Companion, Elder Burns) I was emergency shifted to Papatoetoe! I wasn't expecting to be companions with the son of an old friend of my mother's. The Lord works in mysterious ways! I love him to death! He knows how to work! Really helps me to focus on what the Lord wants us to do! Elder Lolohea is still in Henderson. I pray that the Lord will continually bless him to be able to speak English and that his area will continue to have prepared souls for them to meet and teach! I know that the Lord needed me to be here for some reason. I'm only three days into the new transfer so I hope that we both as a companionship will be able to the best we can. And to figure out what the Lord is needing us to do here:)

Sorry everyone, I was in Vegas last week and totally forgot to post Elder Matua's email from Sept. 7. so here goes.

 Hello Everyone and Good Afternoon or whenever you are Reading this:) But I hope you all had a great week because I did:)

Monday was yet again another day at Piha! One of the most beautiful places in the world. We spent the whole day there. It was great but it was raining the whole time we were there but it was nice to get away from the city:) I had to say a prayer and the joy that followed was definite! Heavenly Father is there! All that I know is that I could feel the Savior's love for me!

Tuesday- District meeting and the spirit was so strong. The district meeting topic was companionship unity. Each of the members of our district expressed love for one another and how much we enjoyed being with one another. Following district meeting we had to go shopping for food. It was a light shopping because we didn't have much cash on hand (thank goodness the members like to feed us) being on foot was a the biggest problem for us but we were still able to contact those we needed to see.

Wednesday- Well the plan was to contact a less-actives and members with disabilities that are bound to there home. It didn't go as planned in the beginning while visiting less-actives. But visiting with the members with disabilities was amazing. We met Joe. He had been stabbed in his bladder and is unable to do a whole bunch. He asked us if we could help him with some things and we did. It felt good to do service for those in need:)

Thursday- Same thing happened today nothing...just sore feet haha No one was out on the roads and it was raining all day...Shucks! We met up with some Aiono Family in Lincoln Ward They know Earline, my aunt. But nothing happened yet again:/

Friday- Trade off with the district leader and Elder Hall....I went with Elder Hall....It was so boring. We did nothing we walked and talked to no one...Terrible:(

Saturday-Nothing, spent another day on split with Elder Hall.

Sunday-Mel and Diamond were confirmed members. Finally:)

Taking a little break

This week has had it's ups and downs. I've needed to do some changing around of attitude, expectations and yes like always repenting of mistakes and moving forward. I've had a lot of priority changes and what I need to do is clear. The time just seems to be quickening and the days seem to get shorter and shorter. Guess that means I'm doing something right?? It's a funny conundrum to say "The harder you work the faster time goes but the less you work the slower the time goes" I don't know where exactly to start but all that I do know is that, I have felt the Savior's love more abundantly this week than any other.

Monday-  I'm grateful to say that I was very happy that today was P-day I needed to left off some steam. volleyball was the key component added to this equation of release.

Tuesday- The morning came with a headache caused by the heat from the space heater. Personal study ended early and we headed to District Meeting; upon arrival the gate appeared to be locked, turned out it was. We called the District Leader and found out the meeting was cancelled. I was looking forward to the meeting but we went home and got ready to meet with President Balli. I told him that I was struggling with some things cause we weren't seeing much success. President simply said, "You need to stop being so hard on yourself." I went away from this meeting with a weight lifted on my shoulders.

The rest of the week was spent walking. Our bikes seem to lack the ability of staying in one piece. This made for a somewhat unproductive week with not much success. I was quite sure it was another week of testing to see if we would be able to endure. We must have done something right because of the miracle baptism of Mel and Diamond Toloa on Sunday. The days that came before the actual baptism were the days of growth in Myself. I saw myself change rather quickly in a week and a time to move forward!

Monday- Just another P-day full of Games and Laughs! I made up a new move for volleyball it's called the "Shovel when your in trouble" one of the best moves when you are in a pickle. haha All created by...the one and only Elder Matua yeahh;) Oh the joy of making myself look like a complete idiot in front of my District:) We had a lesson tonight with Mel , she's progressing and hopefully will get baptized soon.

Tuesday- It was District Meeting time and the topic was teaching the Sacrament. We made a lesson plan and taught the principles of the lesson. It went really well and the goal was to be able to invite the person you were teaching to accept the invitation of baptism.  We did it and they accepted the invite....mission accomplished!! hehe:) We were also given the invitation to invite daily to baptism! We were pumped up to go for it...but we got into a Bible showdown with a Seventh Day Adventist...wasn't exactly the best but we walked away with heads held high and continued and found another keen investigator..so it pays off to get denied by someone because there is always someone else around the corner that is ready! In the process of teaching about the Book of Mormon we were interrupted by a woman of a different church that used some explicit language to explain our church. We ignored her and we continued to teach, and he invited us to his house. Success!

Wednesday- All of our schedule was jumbled up because the Zone Leaders sent us three referrals with set appointments....Graeme was the first person on the list to see:) And well whatever the Zone Leaders did to him he was prepared for us. He claimed he was a healer, and we taught him about the Priesthood and the restoration of it:) He said I know it's true because Jesus told me and we invited him to baptism and he said "Yes"! We also had a kneeling prayer with him and he asked if these things were true and he got his Spiritual Witness. He asked,  "What time is your service at?" So hopefully he'll come to church.

Thursday- The day was super slow, nothing was happening, no one was out to talk with so we had to go through our schedule trying to find someone to talk to. To make matters worse, my bike tire EXPLODED! So we had to walk home...then we had an appointment with Mel the Golden Investigator! She's the best, we taught the Plan Of Salvation!:) She loved it and it made sense to her!:)

Friday- Not having a bike makes things really hard and we weren't able to do much work. So we were only able to stay close to our flat so we did what we could. Later in the day we went to see Mel and her family. We ended up playing with the kids for a while it was the best idea I think we had! I had the biggest feeling of joy come to me. She calls us her BLESSING FROM HEAVEN.

Saturday- We had Trade off with Elder Kreiger, and I was chosen to be with him! I was so grateful for this Trade-off because I was able to have a really good talk. We talked a lot about things that have happened to us on the mission, things we are trying to work on as best as we can. We talked for a while and I felt good to talk to him about things.

Sunday- Spoke in Sacrament again, about faith and the rest of the day just seemed to fly and went too fast to even remember what had happened today.

Monday- For P-day we did a quick shopping trip and then headed up to Massey Chapel (the chapel furthest away from us...) It took a while and we ended up playing basketball, volleyball, and touch rugby! We had an appointment with Mel but we didn't have another male so we began to frantically look for someone to come with us to the lesson. We found Fetai, who is preparing for his mission. We were teaching the Law of Chastity...really awkward for Fetai. After the lesson Mel brought up a question but didn't want to ask it with her son around. We told her we'd discuss it another time when her son wasn't around. I'm really beginning to feel like she may be ready, hopefully she'll commit soon.

Tuesday- Was so busy. We started with a lot of contacting less-active/unknown members many of them were gone, many did not answer their doors, and others weren't home. A funny experience was when we walked up to another less-actives house and we could hear the sound of "JESUS LOVES ME" by Beyoncé, ha ha ha too funny!  Elder Lolohea's chain broke going up a hill...so we had to cancel our meeting with Ward Mission Leader. We had the great idea to use some sugar cane we had received earlier in the day as a baton for me to pull Elder Lolohea around town with a chain-less bike.  ha ha  soo funny! Luckily he didn't crash!!

Wednesday- We had specialized training today with President and Sister Balli.  He is so good! He talked a lot about the difference between obedience and disobedience, and he simply said that if your heart is into being obedient you are being Exactly Obedient!  We visited Selepa (Investigator), then we had some visits, met with our Mission Leader about getting families to open up their homes to us to have Family Home Evening with them.

Thursday- Checked up on some less-actives and ended up getting lunch from one our less active families. The rest of the day was trying to get in touch with part-members and more less-actives. We also had an appointment with Mel, we had intended to teach the Plan of Salvation..we opened with a song, but the lesson ended up being a talk about what she felt about what she was learning (testimony basically). We headed to Bishop's house to talk to Bishop but he wasn't there so we shared a bible video with one of the Bishop's sons.

Friday- Today was kind of a struggle for me. Just one of those times I guess on the mission when you have to work through it. We had to cross the street to get to our appointment, but my bike chain locked up and my hand reached for the brake and sure enough I pulled it too hard and I flew off my bike and opened up the same cut in my hand....out of frustration I threw my bike. We found a bench and sat down to cool off and talk. I told Elder Lolohea how I felt. We talked for a while and then got back on the bikes and headed to our appoinment. Frustrating day but I know it'll get better

Saturday- Quiet day, time to visit and just kind of reflect on the week.

Sunday- Had a "Come and See" fireside, we took Diamond and he loved it! Church always helps to raise my spirits, love feeling recharged for the week.

Not a very eventful week, but I hope the next week will bring some new and exciting things:) LOVE YOU ALL and thanks again for your love and support!!!

Monday- Well no sports today so that meant....trying to finding something to do, didn't work out so well because we ended up sleeping for a couple hours, Boring!!!! But we spent the night contacting some less-actives, Kakuna was his name he's 16 and hasn't been to church for a about six months. So we took the liberty of trying to get him to come back (without forcing) Said he wanted to but not to sure how serious he is about that.

Tuesday- Well today was spent visiting some more people on an "unknown" list giving to us by Bishop. In the process we were able to pick up a new investigator named Thomas, a Fijian man who has a brother-in-law that's a member. He seemed interested so we asked if we could come back to visit some time he said yes but in the process asked for some pamphlets..I was hoping to have a Restoration booklet but all we had was Gospel of Jesus Christ and Plan of Salvation. He took them and said thanks. We had lunch with Nicki and Faleti (part-member family), we ate these massive meat pies plus some sweet rolls!I didn't want to get back on my bike, I felt like I was going to fall asleep..oops! A lot of our other visits fell through...pretty frustrating. We didn't have our Missionary Meeting so we had to make a side plan for the evening..and well it didn't go as well as we planned. We visited Jade and Daniel- a recently baptized family who has been struggling to come back to church but told us to come back tomorrow. We visited with the Ieremia family..I felt the prompting to go there and well it was one we needed to follow because Sister Ieremia was having a hard time trying to deal with her ailing father. We bore testimony about how families are forever...great visit.

Wednesday- The morning started out with a visit to Rosanna a Filipino woman who invited us to lunch on Friday..sweet free lunch!! We then continued to go to see a handicapped woman who hasn't been able to come back to church for quite some time. She can't really walk so we usually have to stand by her door to have her say whether or not we can talk to her, we waited for about ten mintues..then out of nowhere this lady comes to the door and asks, "what's going on?!" We said we are waiting to be invited in.....she then said You two look like a bunch of Burglars! Elder Lolohea looked at me and I look at him and shrugged our shoulders, then she says "come back another day." Had lunch with Alex Aiono (also a less-active), he said his son hasn't been baptized but he has to get authorization from the Boss...His wife who isn't a member. But I guess we will have to patient.

Thursday- We had trade-off after our zone training meeting. The meeting went great...and guess who was there? Elder Uta'i the long lost but not so far cousin. Wow has he changed...for the better of course:) We had scheduled an appointment to go see Lorenzo one of Dad's old friends from Samoa but that fell through. I had trade off with Elder Hall the one from my first Area...so good to see him again ! We worked the same as any other day. But seemed to be a lot more doors being slammed in our faces...which just made us laugh. We had an appointment tonight with Mel and Diamond two of our most prepared investigators:) We taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ and she loved it! She is wanting to stop smoking and told her this is the way to quit. We also gave her a blessing for comfort and counsel on recieving help from Heavenly Father:)

Friday- Today was probably one the longest days of the week just because it was a rainy and cold ..not many people were out to talk to:/ We were able to meet with Trisha McCallister (less-active family also) We talked for a while and let her basically vent to us about Rugby player husband.

Saturday- It was basically the same as Friday..it was a warmer day and no clouds but  no one was out to talk to....so peaceful. We had dinner with Leato's and Salanoa's, it was a blast!:)

Sunday- I really needed today, Church seemed to make everything better:) Thank goodness:) After Church we got a ride from Leatos again:) The Best Family:) After Dinner we had trade off with Ward Mission Leader and Fetai Sekona who is preparing for his mission. Had a fun time with Reece teaching, he is the best!

 Hello Everyone! I hope your week has been great and full of greatness! haha jokes I hope it was great:)

Monday-  The best P-day I think I have ever had!! We went to a place called Piha:) And also went to go see a waterfall called Kitekite Falls! Oh my gosh was it beautiful! We all had a blast! BEST P-Day ever! Had an awesome lesson with Mel and Diamond, taught about the Book of Mormon.

Tuesday- We had District Meeting, the only difference was that the Sisters weren't there, one of the sisters finished her mission last week:( It was sad to see her go but back to Samoa she went! The day was spent in the hilly part of our area. Visiting less-actives and part member families. We met a Sister Fleming..one of  Grandma Faleupolu's (Dad's mom) companions. I cried and cried because it almost felt as if she was there when Sis. Fleming was talking about her. Ah was that cool to meet her. We also had our mission coordinating meeting with our ward Mission Leader. Then we got stuck at the chapel because our recent convert Sigi promised us a ride. Oh well, walked home, no big deal...

Wednesday- We told one of our members with us to go on visits and well that was an adventure in itself....alot of driving, stopping and visiting. Then we got the call about transfers...Elder Thorpe is no longer my companion, he has been called to serve In Whangarei! and I am to stay here in Henderson! Sad to say I will really miss this companion..he was the best companion I've had!

Thursday- Transfer day(Sad Day) I was really dreading this day....I didn't want to lose this companion, so many funny experiences and memories. Elder Kieger and I had a trade-off until I got my new companion...I was nervous to meet him but when I met him....the nervous feeling left me. My new companion is from Tonga,
Elder Lolohea! He's the best and I hope to be able to help him with his English! Elder Uta'i was transferred here also:) (Cousin Oscar)


Friday- First full day with the new comp, he has no fear even though he can't speak English that well, it really helped out to see his effort! We actually met a new person, we were told that he was keen, we did some service for him. His name is Murphy, a British man hadn't allowed any missionaries in his house for 26 years..totally brought the spirit when he said that and we were in awe!  He said we could come back anytime to talk.!!!

Saturday- Really slow but that is normal for a Saturday..nothing to report.

Sunday- Fast and Testimony Meeting, Elder Lolohea and I bore our testimonies and we taught a class for one of our less-actives. We took the Bishop's sons out with us to visit some people and they had a blast!

A MASSIVE BOAT

Monday- In order for us to get to our games this week we had to ride our bikes to the furthest chapel in the zone, Lincoln Park Ave. So we went for it. Wasn't too bad, I was really glad that my bike didn't break on me! We were getting really inpatient because we waited at our flat for an hour to know whether or not we were going to play. We kept hitting all the red lights. We played a game called Turbo! A mix of Rugby and Football with Rugby rules but aren't allowed to run forward after two touches turnover. The Best Game! After games we had to ride our bikes back.....IT POURED ON US. Elder Thorpe and I rode back with Elders Taimani and Taua going down massive hills almost getting pushed off the road by car....wooo was that a rush! Luckily we didn't get sick:)

Tuesday- District Meetingl:) After we tried to get in contact with out investigators--didn't happen...so we spent a lot of time trying to get members to come out with us. We asked Sean Papali'i (Bishop's son) to come with us and he said he would!

Wednesday- The Bishop's son came with us for a couple of hours and we visited a lot of investigators and less-active/part member families. We had so much fun with him. We really want the members to understand what we as missionaries do everyday! The day seemed to fly even though my head was pounding (headaches). We ate dinner with Bishop's family and played the silent game...hahaha it was insane what we tried to do to get each other to laugh....nothing worked but still super fun to try!

Thursday- Bishop last night asked us to use a paper he gave us full of people we needed to visit so we did. And was it a busy day! I got the finger from an old man driving past us...haha we both laughed and just kept going!

Friday- We had a miracle today, we have two people who committed to baptism, so happy for these people to change their life! Mel and Diamond Toloa!!! They are so ready!!!

Farewell to Pres. & Sis. Lekias

 Saturday- we got our hair cut and spent some time with Faleti and tried our best to stay busy...but didn't really work out that well. We were really exhausted so we went and visited one of our members. The Millers where we were told that our diets weren't good..one of the members was a nutritionist... and told us to eat more fruit so we ate some and we had a huge energy boost...they must have put something in that orange because I was so hyper after that!

Sunday- Just a normal Sunday, we had Mel come to church. SHE LOVED IT!! Stayed for the whole three hour block! All the members thought she was a member also....she has changed everything to change herself....she stopped drinking and smoking all because she was going to church....what else is she going to give up?? We visited with our Ward Mission Leader, his home teaching family and then also met with Faleti and Nicki!

It was a BUSY week and much went on. Two months away from a year??? Where did the time go???? I love this work and I don't want it to be over:(  Love you all and have a great week:)

Week of June 30 - July 6

Well Hello Everyone!:)

Monday- We played Turbo a mix between rugby and football. What a blast! We spent a whole lot of time out on the roads talking with everyone on the streets! So much fun. We met two really keen people that should be ready to share the gospel with in the next little while might be a while though:(

Tuesday- Today one of those days....first off to begin the day I discovered I had no brakes on my bike...not good, so this meant I was going to need to use my feet to stop. That worked for about twenty mintues.(There's a lot of hills in our area) Each time we had to stop to talk to someone ...I blew past them. Funny Experience- We just so happened to go down another hill..and there was an intersection coming and the light was red. Just so happened to be that I was in the road and Elder Thorpe was on the sidewalk...I had to get on the sidewalk so I did..cutting off Elder Thorpe and almost knocking him into a sign. Luckily there was enough room for him to get between it. Phew dodged a bullet there. But what came next was hilarious! So in order for us to get to our flat this meant crossing the street...Elder Thorpe went first and I followed..expect one thing decided to fall out of place..my front tire ha ha ha. I had to walk to the middle of the road (like a waddling duck) to find that my wheel was bouncing down the hill...I set my bike down and ran after my tire ha ha ha. After getting it I got a bunch of awe-struck faces..ha ha :0 super funny.

Wednesday- I had a massive migraine...and we had District Meeting ..so I took some meds and then had to walk up to our chapel...Elder Thorpe must have been out of it or something because we decided to cut through a field and in order to get through the field we had to STEP over a chain-link fence..and I guess the message of lift your feet didn't go to Elder Thorpe's feet so..he tripped ha ha ha. At the time it wasn't funny...because of my head...so I had to sit and wait for him to stand back up! ha ha. When getting to District Meeting I felt so sick and had to go to the Bathroom Four times to Throw-up.. I began to feel better then I took a nap for lunch and was ready to go for the rest of the day!

Thursday- We spent a lot of time in the furthest part of our Area looking for more people to teach and get to know a little better (Mostly Members) Well didn't go as well as we thought but it was still a good try rather build relationship than not do anything. We met a new investigator Name is Rhys (Reece) Super nice guy and invited us back the next day.

Friday- Went back and caught up with Rhys and he showed us around his house and his super cool gadgets ( Engineer) he has some cool stuff! SIX cars, and all these things he has built. We also met with a really nice part-member family. The dad isn't a member but really likes us so we planned to have a Family Home Evening and dinner with them in the coming week..so we will see what we can do to help him, and see how what the Gospel can do for him:)

Saturday- We so many appointments today with Investigators (four) We were super busy today..two of them cancelled:( Darn...guess it just happens that way sometimes...The appointment that we did get to ...we got told to leave Samoan Family The day wasn't exactly the happiest Susuga e'a faavevela le meaai that was to our investigators and then said Aveese mai o la'u fale! So we left and we were scared for Selepa so we offered a prayer and we felt better.

Sunday- Fast Sunday. We attempted to visit members before Church...didn't happen,not enough time:( So we rested for lunch and headed to Church..we had FOUR baby blessing...so many people were there we had to sit outside. After Church we went and visited one of our members that lives in the Bush!! Really Far away...and then visited with the Ieremia's really nice family and that was the night.

The week was great and full of funny experiences...ahh so much fun of the Mission:)

Week of July 7- 13

Monday- Just another preparation day, getting everything ready to go for the next week. We didn't get to go shopping so we were lucky that our members fed us:) Phew...but anyways we went and played sport at the Chapel: Ping Pong, Touch ( Rugby), and Basketball...I got dunked on but it's alright I brushed it off..Super Funny P-day!

Tuesday- We had interviews with our New Mission President! President Balli! Wow is he amazing. He knew me more than I thought he did....so cool how he can do that. Great counsel from our new president. I love him already!!

Wednesday- We had a trade-off with the Zone Leaders and went really well, learned a lot and what I needed to work on was to NOT BE SO WORRIED ABOUT EVERYTHING.

Thursday-We were having a really bad morning (Thursday) Nothing felt right, so we decided that we should go back to the flat for Lunch, we took the back way to our flat, and leading to our flat there was a down hill slope I don't have any brakes so....me trying to stop was impossible so I had to ride on the grass to slow down...wasn't enough, and then we came to the bridge this was really bad because the bridge was wet..and then I slipped off my bike...landing on my stomach. I saw this teenage girl standing on the bridge and felt we needed to talk to her, she was crying we asked her was wrong and she told us that she just got into a fight with her boyfriend..we talked to her for a minute and then we asked her if there was anything we could do for her, she said no I have to go soon. So we said our goodbyes and left but we felt we needed to go back to find her and help her out...but when we got back there she was gone...There is no way she could walk that fast. Hopefully we'll see her again!!!

Friday- We had trade-off again with the District Leader. he was with me and we had a long talk . I felt better after we talked.The trade-off ended at Seven and we had a ward activity Ward Sports Night (our activity) So that meant that we could play so we did:) So much playing with the ward and getting to know them.

Saturday- We had workout with the District Leader at six in the morning:) Ahh was that a great way to start the morning. Was awake for the rest of the day:) We had breakfast with one of our less-active members Lorenzo Lameko! And then we ate lunch at a members house, The Huns. Dinner with the Wrights from Lotopa, Samoa. Said we may be related??

Sunday- We had a Return Missionary coming home, Hakaria he served in Japan, Sendai mission. He couldn't really speak English, he started to ramble off in Japanese..reminded me of Dillon:) Then following Church we had no food..we ended up going to our Ward Mission Leaders house to eat some food! Hamburgers and salad.  

Overall it was a great week with a lot learning experiences...and more to come I know there is:)

Seems to be going too fast...I don't like it one bit! But besides that the past week was full of great things! So here we go:)

Monday- We played Touch today for about 2 hours...was I sore...we planned to go to visit an investigator with Bishop Papalii and then go to his house for dinner...but it didn't happen...but we found a new investigator to make up for it!

Tuesday- No District Meeting..so we were out of the flat by ten and we were off to visit an investigator ...didn't answer so off to see one of our members the Misi's (Samoan). Talked to him and he told us about his conversion story:) Really good to hear these kinds of stories it's a huge motivator! We then walked through the city we began talking to an Indian man..he couldn't walk that well so he grabbed my hand and made me walk him across the street...ahh talk about funny! Oh and also went up this MASSIVE HILL to our chapel..I didn't have legs anymore..

Wednesday- We had specialized training with President Lekias..our last meeting with him...sad but it was time for change....I gave the closing prayer...and like always I cried. I also got my package from Mom and Dad!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! We also had trade-off with the District Leader I was with Elder McKewon from the UK that was probably one of the wettest days I've had...IT POURED and the bad thing was Elder McKewkon had no brakes and of course we had to go down a HUGE hill..well in short he almost ended up in the road into on-coming traffic luckily the brakes worked ...just a little bit! We were laughing so hard.

Thursday- I got really down on myself because I felt like I didn't belong here in this area..I prayed and prayed and prayed but it won't go away..so I went all day with this feeling in my chest....really hard day.

Friday- We had another experience of someone telling us he didn't want to be alive anymore...It was so hard listening to him. His name is Josh. So we listened to him talk for about an hour...and we were about to leave but the rain started up again (Heavenly Father's way of telling us to go into the home and say a prayer with him) So we did and I gave him a hug and we left.

Saturday- Was super busy. Got hair cuts and did a lot of biking around talking to people...who didn't want to talk to us...but at the end of the day we had a miracle of meeting and sharing the gospel with a man named Toamoa and shared pretty much all three lessons in a hour...it was so cool to teach by the spirit!!

Sunday- Elder Thorpe and I were fasting that we would have some investigators come to church and plus we were singing in Sacrament Meeting (Love at Home) and plus I was speaking about Faith in Christ! When the sacrament was being passed I had never felt the spirit so strong it was so peaceful and in the words of Elder Thorpe, "It feels like he is here"...Amazing! And then we sang our song...it sounded like there were Angels helping us...so powerful and the mood of the congregation changed for the rest of the meeting. I then spoke about Faith in Christ and The Stripling Warriors. Great Sunday!!!! After the meeting we went back to our flat..closed our fast and ate dinner and talked about the day..I felt the impression to right in my journal, and then Elder Thorpe handed me a Book.. Green Eggs and Ham (Book of Mormon Edition) I read it and it reminded me of giving some one a Book of Mormon.

This week has been great and has been one to remember! I Love You all and have a great week !:)
